Daily inspection before operating the forklift aims to keep the forklift in good working condition. This inspection helps identify damage prematurely, ensuring that there is no more excessive wear on the forklift components. In addition, routine inspections facilitate forklift maintenance and increase the utility of the forklift. These duties and responsibilities are the operator's obligation before operating the forklift.
Pre-Operation check includes all parts of readiness that must be checked and ensured that everything is in standard condition and in accordance with what the forklift needs to operate. There are two stages in pre-operation inspection, namely before the unit is ON/engine running and after the unit is ON or engine running. Of course, both of these items have different inspection items. And this applies to both diesel forklifts and electric forklifts, because in principle every forklift must be pre-operation checked by the operator. The results of the check must be documented as a reference for corrective actions and a document history of the operator's work.
With these interests, PT Kianis Pratama is currently trying to develop a pre-operation check control system using a barcode system on the forklift where the barcode is connected to a link that requires the operator to fill in forklift inspection items so that the forklift can be known for operational feasibility and as a means of providing the fastest information regarding unit damage to the PT Kianis Pratama service center. This is one of the added values for PT. Kianis Pratama's forklift rental service.
